Anything Wedding is More Expensive

This is so true. I used to work in a stationary shop a long time ago. We had a lot of standard papery and invitations that we used throughout the store: in the kids section, the birthday section, the anniversary section, and the wedding section. The prices for the same exact stuff in the wedding section was almost TWICE THE PRICE! We suggested to all people looking at wedding invitations to schedule an appointment. We would role out the red carpet, serve them sparkling wine, and take them straight to the wedding section to sit on nice chairs and browse through invitations. If any one of those brides would've walked to another section of the store, they would've realized what was happening. It was a total scam. Beware brides!

I'm printing my own invitations, thank you very much! I'm also going to make my own wedding cake, so thanks to this site for all the great info.
