Fondant Gets a Bad Rap

So, I think fondant is gross. There is no way I will be having it on my wedding cake. No, I don't just think it tastes gross, but it feels like skin in my mouth. It's stretchy and slimy and makes me gag. I do know however, that home made fondant is really supposed to taste better. And, there is a commercially made fondant that bakers can buy in bulk that actually tastes pretty good. The problem is that there is one or more fondant suppliers whose fondant tastes terrible, and most people have tasted it unfortunately, so fondant gets a bad rap.

If who don't mind the skin thing (like me), and gave the good fondants a chance, they make like it.
