Fondant is a Trend Going Out of Style

I'm 27 and getting married this summer. I have 4 other friends who also got recently engaged, all getting married this year or in '11. We ALL (5 of us) are *not* having fondant cakes. 2 of us are having cupcakes and 3 are having another frosting that looks more real and edible on our cake. Seriously, fondant has been totally overplayed. Everyone is sick of it. Most of it tastes nasty. No way I'm spending high dollar just to have a cake like we all see on Ace of Cakes or in a Martha Stewart mag. Rant! Click here to read or post comments. |
