I just found the best Wedding Cupcake Display

I just chose my wedding cake today (not the one shown here). But the runner up was the cupcake wedding cake in the photo. I found this picture in Wedding Cakes, Issue 33...which is a U.K. publication. I really, really contemplated using a cupcake wedding cake for my wedding, because I heard they are so much less expensive and I really think they're cute. I also like the idea of individual desserts for all the guests, and that they can go up to the cupcake display to get their own (saves serving costs).

The thing that I didn't like about the cupcake thing at first is that there would be no cake cutting, which I really want to have at my wedding. When I discovered that a lot of the cupcake tier designs use a full cake on the top tier (so couples can do their official cake cutting and/or save the top for their first anniversary), I changed my mind.

Ultimately, I decided on a topsy turvy cake (also from the same mag). But I wanted to share this design because I think it's just so elegant.
