I went with a low end baker

I avoided the fancy baker thing like the plague. I kind of view it as buying a car. I can't afford what I want so I just want to avoid it. I know if I went into one of those fancy wedding cake shops I would've walked out with a cake of my dreams that would've broken my wedding budget. Sigh. So I just went down to the trusty old school bakery and ordered a buttercream number. It's not what I want but it's in my price range.
