Ice Cream Desserts

It doesn’t have to be a warm summer day for ice cream desserts to work at your wedding!Ice Cream Bars
One of our clients and dear friend, LOVES It's Its. Lucky for us bay area peeps, the It's It factory is nearby in Burlingame, CA. It was a piece of cake to order 200 of them for their wedding reception. They were stored in a cooler with dry-ice so there were no issues with melting during transportation. Note from the couple’s friend that made the pick-up and delivery: when traveling with frozen CO2 in your vehicle, crack a window or two, the carbon dioxide displaces the oxygen – and can make you pass out! Some other frozen friends we've seen clients use are: Klondike bars, Eskimo Pies, and Skinny Cows.

Ice Cream Sundaes
Another one of our clients chose to serve scoops of their favorite local creamery from Silbermann's in San Rafael, CA. They let their guests make their own sundaes with an assortment of syrups, fresh fruit and toppings provided at a dessert station.

Ice Cream Station
Whether gelato, sorbet, your own version of a Cold Stone Creamery station (with an attendant mixing it up with some toppings at a dessert station), frozen treats are an acceptable alternative to traditional wedding cakes.

Ice Cream Cake
Seems pretty impossible right? You can't display an ice-cream cake for more than a few minutes in a warm reception room without it starting to melt. So what do you do? Rent a fake wedding cake, for display and pictures and serve sheet ice-cream cakes from the kitchen. Most rental cakes have a secret slot in them to insert a slice of cake for the cake cutting. Your guests will never know!

Favorite Ice Cream Desserts
Whether Mexican ice-cream, bananas fosters, ice-cream with fresh fruit, covered with caramel or in waffle cones...if it's your favorite, then you can pull it off!

Enjoy!
