Colorful Swans Wedding Cake
by Nidia Moreno
(Spring, Texas, USA)
I designed this cake as a part of afinal test in a culinary school. I made the swans and hearts with pastillage, flowers with gum paste, add some tulle to the heart and border of the cake. Thank you, Nidia Moreno

Butterfly Wedding Cake

butterfly wedding cake
I LOVE this butterfly wedding cake. I think the thing I like about it most is that the butterflies are subtle, there are not too many of them. This cake would be perfect for a fall wedding too. I just thought it was perfect!

Blue and Brown Wedding Cake

blue and brown wedding cake
This blue and brown wedding cake is very modern in my opinion, and would probably not go well for a wedding at the Ritz (which is where I'm having my reception). I really like it though and thought it was a winner.

Elegant Sage Wedding Cake

Elegant Sage Wedding Cake
I found this wedding cake design online and I'm going to ask my baker to duplicate it. My reception is in a real charming old world type ballroom, and all of my bridesmaids are wearing sage dresses. My bouquet will match the flower cake topper too.

Elegant Butterfly Wedding Cake
by Sara

This elegant butterfly wedding cake is so beautiful! I'm thinking of using it for my wedding. I can't decide if I want dragonfly or butterfly accents. I'm sure I can ask my baker to swap the butterfly idea for the dragonflies, if I decide to go with this cake design. I thought it would be fun to enter it in the contest. I've been reading a lot on this site, it's all very useful information. There's so much to know when you're planning your wedding, choosing your cake included.

ribboned wedding cake
This ribboned wedding cake is extremely similiar to my own that I'm having designed. I LOVE it, so had to enter it in the contest here. The colors and the lines are beautifully arranged. I'm having some stationary designed for my wedding invitations and thank you cards that match. I'm really excited to see it all come together.

Wilton Garden Terraces Cake

Don't know if anyone has seen the Wilton Garden Terraces Cake, but it's pretty unique. It's made with tear shaped cake molds that are made by Wilton. It's totally unique and different, go Wilton.

beautiful wedding cake
I thought this wedding cake was absolutely gorgeous. I wish I could say that I made it myself, but I didn't. Not sure who the baker is. Gorgeous!
