Military Wedding Cake Toppers

Military wedding cake toppers are a respectable choice if you’re in the service, and especially if you’re getting married on a base, with a large number of peers and colleagues in the service. It’s fairly easy to find figurine couples with the groom wearing various types of uniforms: air force, army, navy, marine, or another general service.

Most often, the male topper is in uniform only, and the bride in a gown. However, if both bride and groom and in the service, why can’t the bride be in uniform too? Or at least wearing a hat or some portion of her uniform, right? Finding this may be a bit hard to find…but don’t fret. If this is your choice, a custom topper can be made with no problem.

One time we had a client that wanted a camouflage cake! The baker was able to create a dreamy confection that was iced with camouflage fondant. The baker used a sheet of army green colored fondant as the base, and pressed other smaller and lighter colored tans, greens and grays into the larger piece. It actually ended up looking quite good, and they topped it with figurines of the bride and groom in their service uniforms.
