We have worked with many couples lately that insist on this option. It's not that we're completely against the idea, but we've seen them SO many times, over and over. For instance, ask your baker if they can create letter(s) with a design that you've incorporated elsewhere. This is a great way to tie in your stationery, flowers, napkins, ice sculpture or whatever else to the design.

Why as your baker to create it? This is because your baker may used unique materials that will make your initials more unique: marzipan, gumpaste, a structure covered with fondant. Or your baker could incorporate sugar flowers or fresh flowers into the design, or construct the initials with something totally organic like twigs from a tree.

Whatever the case, think out of the box!
