Overpriced wedding cakes are a joke

This is a very well written article, thank you for sharing your experiences with all of us brides to be. With this economy, how can baker's expect people to pay such ridiculous amounts for flour, eggs and sugar? I get wedding cakes are coutour, but it's over the top for the average bride.
