Patriotic Desserts

I LOVE the 4th of July, and so does my fiance. We're planning on having a July 4th wedding this summer. We were thinking of having patriotic desserts. I'm not sure exactly what this means just yet! I always think of my favorite summer dessert recipes, like key lime pie, sponge cake with fresh fruit, and jello. There's also cupcakes with an American flag on a toothpick as a topper, or cool whip desserts with strawberries and blueberries that are arranged in some way to look like the American flag. I plan to do all my google searches on 4th of July recipe to see what's out there, but if anyone has some good ideas here please let me know! Click here to read or post comments.
