Wedding Cake of the Month 

About the baker:
Edith Meyer is happy to create individual cakes for each table or guest, or a special dessert presentation with a multitude of tiny treasures.

Memorable cake flavors include key lime with toasted coconut, stone ground spice cake with applesauce, and others based on the bounty of her own garden. Edith’s Santa Cruz garden overflows with blueberries, strawberries, ollalieberries, raspberries, seven kinds of fruit trees and countless herbs and edible flowers. Other ingredients she uses are organic whenever possible and often come from local farmers. “My cakes are all made from scratch using just a handful of ingredients, so the quality of those items really matters,” she emphasizes. It hardly needs to be said that her cakes are always moist—and never frozen.
