I still don't get how they get the frosting to shimmer like that. I'm sure if I watched one of the many cake shows that's on TV right now, I would understand.

Henna is a tradition in my culture, but I'm not really having a traditional cultural wedding. I'm seeking out different things here and there that hint my background, and I found this henna cake. I fell in love with it. Not only is it exactly what I was looking for, but it's beautiful as well.

Teal Wedding Cake

Top and bottom tiers are chocolate cake with chocolate/hazelnut and raspberry fillings. Middle tier is yellow cake with cream cheese buttercream and raspberry filling. Client saw this cake in a bridal magazine and came to me to put her spin on it. Originally a 3 tiered round Cakeworks.com cake, covered with chocolate, my client decided on an off-set square cake, covered with fondant, making it quite modern and unique. It fit in the venue beautifully for a non-traditional color. The bride and groom couldn't have been happier!

OK everyone knows who the Cake Boss is right? Buddy Valastro is the guy on TLC's show called Cake Boss, that runs a bakery in Hoboken, New Jersey called Carlo's Bakery. This gorgeous floral wedding cake is from their shop. It's to die for. I drool every time I see it. I need to order it for my wedding!!! I just had to enter it into the contest for Buddy, and I hope it wins.
